Jai provided the following information, which I have slightly edited.

Jai: The movies with * mean I found a cassette or a DVD. I made a cassette (Henry has one) with the parts or extras he played in 8 of those 12 movies.

Year Title Director Role Jai’s notes
1953 Un acte d'amour

Anatole Litvak American soldier in a truck With Kirk Douglas (“a good guy” my father always said) and a young girl in her first movie: Brigitte Bardot
*1953 Cet Homme est Dangereux Jean Sacha At the very beginning of the movie, in a close-up, says: “this man is dangerous!” and that’s all... With Eddie Constantine, an American actor famous only in France
*1958 Oh Qu Mamxbo John Berry
*1958 Asphalte Herv Bromberger   With Franoise Arnoul
*1958 Le Fauve est Lach  Maurice Labro A real part; he ends up thrown from a cliff. With Lino Ventura; Hy is in the credits
1959 Crack in the Mirror Richard Fleischer   With Juliette Greco (during her romance with Daryl Zanuck!) and Orson Welles
*1959 La Valse du Gorille Bernard Borderie   With Roger Hanin
*1959 Robinson et le Triporteur Jacques Pinoteau   With Darry Cowl
*1959 Deux Hommes dans Manhattan Jean-Pierre Melville Night watchman in a hotel Never paid
1962 Les Ennemis Edouard Molinaro   I’m not sure of this movie :I just found a note of my father mentioning it among the others
*1963 Blague dans le Coin  Maurice Labro   With Fernandel, with whom he had a quarrel: Fernandel got upset because my father had some difficulties in pronouncing the last “u” of “j’ai une chance de cocu,” so they had to re-shoot the scene several times...
1964 Thomas l’Imposteur Georges Franju   From a novel of Jean Cocteau; Cocteau wrote the screenplay, too

In homage to Hy's love for film, dedication to politics, and dismay at the blacklisting of the Hollywood 10, I include a link to the latter.
